I do my best to provide specialty-based care with a focus on outcomes and satisfaction. I believe in giving each patient the unique attention he or she needs. Whether a patient is going through operative or non-operative care, I find that I really develop a relationship with them.
I love the team approach that we have here at Ohio State. My partners are outstanding, and I fully trust their thoughts and opinions. They are truly national leaders in our field and having them in my corner makes my work easy. In addition to the team environment, I like the breadth of resources that are available here.
In my free time, I enjoy attending Ohio State football games, watching movies and relaxing with my family. My wife Emily and I have two children. I love sports, and while I spent many years in Wisconsin as a Badger fan, since joining Ohio State, I am proud to adopt the traditions of a Buckeye fan.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies, etc. because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 03/25/2016, Dr. Barlow has reported no financial relationships with medical device, research and/or drug companies, etc. If you have questions about how these relationships are monitored by The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, please contact our Compliance Office at 614-293-7802.
