About Me
As a vascular surgeon at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, there is great variability in the things I do and the types of people I see. My clinical approach is to develop customized treatment plans that best align with my patients’ unique needs and values. I always listen closely to my patients, gain a better understanding of the impact of their vascular-related diseases on their lives and work with them to make health decisions in conjunction with appropriate counsel.
My goal is that all the patients I care for can rely on me to explain their condition and treatment options in a manner they understand and that they will always feel involved in their health care decisions.
I provide a spectrum of treatment options in vascular surgery, including medication, exercise therapy, open surgical procedures, and also, minimally invasive endovascular procedures, like angioplasty and stenting. Treatment decisions are always based on supported medical evidence and the patient’s preferences.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Stoecker has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
