Biography
Specialty care is a strength at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I try to collaborate with my colleagues to provide the best neurological and neuromuscular clinical care and research options for my patients. I treat my patients as I would a family member, and I work hard to solve and treat their neurological conditions. I develop meaningful relationships with my patients by recognizing their value as people rather than just their diagnoses.
As a neurologist, I specialize in neuromuscular disorders and electromyography. I find the nervous system fascinating and want to help patients who have neurological and neuromuscular conditions.
I enjoy the combination of academic and clinical environments here at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. This balance optimizes the quality of our patients’ care. It is a pleasure to work with the medical students and residents. They help provide a team environment and reenergize my passion for medicine.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Chad Hoyle has reported no relationships with companies or entities.

All great
Dr Hoyle always listens to my symptoms carefully. This visit he was very reassuring that my concerns were real. It took me aback. It never occurred to me that they were not real.
I found Dr. Hoyle to be extremely professional, knowledgeable and concerned with my health condition, as well as willing to help me find relief with his assistance.
