About Me

I am a board-certified dermatologist and pediatric dermatologist with expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of skin conditions. My clinical practice includes general dermatology, with a focus on acne, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, and skin cancer. My subspecialty training in pediatric dermatology has equipped me with the experience to care for children with both complex and common skin disorders.

Beyond clinical care, I am passionate about medical education. As a clinical educator, I work closely with medical students, residents, and fellows in my outpatient clinics. I also contribute to the development of pediatric dermatology curricula, providing didactic materials and educational support at both local and national levels.

While I enjoy teaching healthcare professionals, I believe the most meaningful aspect of medical education lies in empowering patients with the knowledge to best care for themselves. Effective care begins with listening, conducting thorough physical exams, and engaging patients in shared decision-making to provide personalized, compassionate treatment.

My career in dermatology began at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Medical Center in 1994. I am a proud Buckeye and honored to have contributed to the growth and strength of the medical community at Ohio State, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and throughout Central Ohio.
