About Me

I am an orthopedic nurse practitioner specializing in foot and ankle injuries. My role involves treating sprains, fractures, conditions like plantar fasciitis, and caring for patients after they have undergone foot and ankle surgeries. I work closely with surgeons and physical therapists to develop postsurgical recovery plans to help patients return to the activities they enjoy.

I love working here at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center because of the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with the best orthopedic specialists and their staffs every day. I regularly attend conferences and academic meetings to stay on top of the latest research advancements, which help me to provide the best care possible for my patients.

Excellent. She was very knowledgeable too.

Julia swain did not make mention of any of my concerns or ongoing pain in the post visit notes, and they were essentially copy pasted from my past visit with none of my issues addressed. She also ignored my concern for return to work full time even though my physical therapist agreed it was too soon. When I mentioned my ongoing pains and limits of motion her response was "hopefully that gets better" which was completely unprofessional and lacked any empathy for my issues post op with your facilities.

My doctor made me feel comfortable about my visit and she walked me through every step. She was caring, kind and spent time with me to make sure I had all questions answered.

Never called me back, which I think colors my perception of all her services. I was in severe pain and looking for answers or suggestions left message that my pain level was out of 15 on a scale of one to 10 and medication wasn't handling.

She expressed concern about the sutures not being ready for removal, and provided me with a suture removal kit for my wife to remove them. My wife is a nurse.
