About Me
As a board-certified vascular interventional and diagnostic radiologist, I specialize in offering minimally invasive techniques that bring my patients relief and enable them to leave the hospital much more quickly. It is a privilege to help people improve their symptoms and conditions so they can lead a higher quality of life.
My role at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center involves diagnosing and treating various conditions affecting the arteries, veins, liver, gallbladder/biliary system, kidneys, urinary system and reproductive organs. I also address pain and treat patients with cancer. My special clinical interests include treating tumors with interventional oncology techniques and performing advanced procedures such as prostate artery embolization and percutaneous biliary endoscopy.
I appreciate the commitment to excellence at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center and the resources available that allow me to provide the best care possible to each patient. I’m able to take my time and ensure my patients are thoroughly educated about their conditions and treatment options. Ohio State also has a comprehensive team of expert physicians across all specialties, which allows for collaborative approaches that enhance the care we can offer.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Chan has reported no relationships with companies or entities.

He was a jerk. Totally unprepared. Gave me two impossible choices which I TRIED to explain I could not take the medication or treatment. Setting in the ER for 2 hours the week prior and wanted me to go back. As I explained I HAVE NO SPLEEN AND TUBE STICKING OUT OF MY SIDE I CAN NOT SIT FOR TWO HOURS! He was dismissive and informed me I was put on his schedule. Would not answer pertinent questions and was totally rude!
