Biography

I am a board-certified nurse practitioner within the Department of Neurology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. In my current role with the Division of Neuro-Oncology, I help provide exceptional treatment for patients with various brain and spinal cord tumors. I also care for patients with conditions such as epilepsy and help with symptom management.

I have cared for patients from all walks of life in my 15 years as a medical provider. I believe it is important to promote shared decision-making, and I always ensure my patients thoroughly understand their conditions and all treatment options.

Prior to my career as a nurse practitioner, I served as a major in the U.S. Air Force. I led multiple teams to enhance medical knowledge and deployment capabilities for both active duty and reserve airmen, streamlined process improvements and updated standards of care in hospital policies. This fueled my passion for health policy and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). These experiences also shaped the way I care for my patients. Every patient has a unique story, and I meet them where they are on their health journey to ensure they receive the best care possible.
