About Me
I am the director of the Body Contouring Program at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I chose to specialize in plastic surgery because I enjoy the creativity and artistic aspects involved in the practice. It’s immensely gratifying to be able to help my patients achieve their desired outcomes, using methods that are both practical and safe.
I regularly perform procedures including body contouring, abdominoplasty, breast reduction, breast lift, breast augmentation, liposuction, thighplasty, brachioplasty, and buttock augmentation with fat grafting. I also have expertise in lipedema surgery. My research is focused on developing innovative techniques to continuously improve body contouring procedures and patient outcomes.
After several years in private practice, I chose to switch to an academic health center because I was excited about the opportunity to teach the future generation of doctors. It’s a privilege to help guide medical students and residents in the art of plastic surgery.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. Very caring
A lot of time spent going over details that could have been addressed prior to my visit.
Based on the outcomes of surgery and interactions in the office, I can attest with certainty that Dr. Viennas is a very skilled and knowledgeable surgeon. I feel that he truly cares about helping the patients in his care. I am thankful to have been under his care. I have had ongoing problems with recurrent abdominal hernias. I feel that the services OSU and Dr. Viennas, in collaboration with Dr. Poulose, provides for this particular condition is excellent in every way. Prior to coming to OSU I received care that resulted in very poor outcomes. I am beyond thankful for the abdominal core health program at OSU and all of the services collaboratively working toward helping me get well and stay well.

He was a very excellent doctor and was very interested in me he experienced everything and showed me what he was going to do.
He was extremely thorough by asking clarifying questions throughout the appointment. He too detailed notes as I answered his questions. Good exam regarding the current issue.
He was very knowledgeable about my diagnosis and plan for treatment. He spent a lot of time with me and I did not fee rushed. He really seemed to care.

Dr. Viennas performed 2 major skin excess removal surgeries for me in 2022. He is EXTREMELY knowledgeable & continually researches new procedures, etc. He's very thorough & patient in everything he does. An amazing doctor whom I've recommended to others (along with Dr. Lehrman, who performed my 1st 2 excess skin removal surgeries). Very imp0ressed with OSU!
