I believe in providing compassionate care to each and every patient. I find that combining preventative care with acute and chronic treatment is important to improving a patient’s health.
I love working at Ohio State because of the professionalism and cooperation among my colleagues. I believe this collaboration and our team-based approach contributes to both scientific achievements and advances in education, as well as to improvements in patient care.
In my free time, I love to travel and spend time enjoying the outdoors. I am also an accomplished horseback rider and an avid equestrian. I enjoy all varieties of horse related activities from trail riding to show jumping.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 03/25/2016, Dr. Belknap has reported no financial relationships with medical device, research and/or drug companies.
