About Me

I’m a nurse practitioner specializing in sinus care as a member of the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. I treat patients for various sinus conditions such as sinusitis, nasal airway obstruction, nasal polyps, allergic rhinitis and nosebleeds.

When patients come to see me, they can expect high-quality, individualized care and that I will do all that I can to help them achieve optimal health outcomes. I’m passionate about working collaboratively with my physician partners to provide increased access to care.

I’m a member of the Ohio Nurse Association, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Society of Otolaryngology and Head-Neck Nurses.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing tennis, golfing and spending time with friends and family.

I think that my provider is very knowledgeable. She gave me some possible causes for my symptoms. I still have some chronic symptoms and would like them resolved if possible.

Lesley definitely spent more time with me than the other ENT I had seen (outside of OSU). I came to OSU because I was hoping for better customer service. She was the first person to scope my nose. I did have an awful experience with the nasal spray (mix of Lidocaine and Afrin); I was blacking out, sweating, etc. Ready to faint, and Lesley didn't really tell me that was a possibility. I'm not sure how many people that happens to, but she had the apple sauce at the ready. She did step out because she said it was worse if she was there, but I was literally unable to see so luckily my husband was there. I hope she wouldn't have left me alone if I were alone because it was scary. It was probably 10-15 minutes, and she never came to check on me. Neither did the nurse. I had to have my husband go find her once I felt better. So that was a low point in the visit; I had no idea the medication would affect me in that way, and I normally feel better when I feel faint if I can lie down. I asked if I could lie down, before she left the room, but she didn't respond to show she had heard me. Once she scoped my nose, she was very helpful in explaining what was going on and looking at imagery with me. She did ask once if I had more questions.
