Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

He is the BEST!
Good.
Good
Bueno
Excellent experience
Dr. Atai is such a good listener. He seems to "get it" very soon after I verbalize about a concern. I believe his medical knowledge is very good. He never makes me feel rushed, but instead like I have his undivided attention when I am in his office. He is a good communicator, and is very good on follow-through about my issues or things he has recommended that I do.
Nothing negative to report. The appointment was a well conducted and positive experience.
Great very communicative and thorough.
Excellent everything
Dr. Atai was personable, well informed of my unusual situation and offered helpful advice.

Dr Atai is patient and thorough
He was exceptional. He listened. He answered all my questions.
He very clearly listened very well to my concerns, and even noticed issues that I hadn't even thought were anything out of the norm. I've been struggling with my health since I was a young child, only to have my concerns brushed off by quite a few doctors... So to have him listen, and take me seriously, was a huge help. He also helped to narrow down the concerns, and reassure me on things that were normal/expected, which is always a boost to my mental health, as I'm prone to worrying. He did so in a thorough, tactful, well-explained way. I did not feel dismissed!
He was very helpful and understanding.
Only good things to say, was able to help put my health first.
Dr. ATAI and med student were very thorough

Very good
Dr. Atai is amazing. My wife has been a patient for a while, raved about him and so I switched to Dr. Atai from another physician. I am so glad I did.
Listened and prescribed something that solved my issue
He was very professional.
It was my first visit to establish care. I'm happy with Dr Atai as my new provider. I feel like his style doesn't involve a lot of chit chat it's all focused on health and any clinical needs. This is how a prefer my relationship to be with my treating providers.
Very thorough and courteous
The doctor is very, very thorough. He is super kind. He treated me and his team with respect
I felt the doctor was listening to respond rather than listening to the problem I was telling him about. He told me that I was fine before even examining me
My doctors awesome no complaints
Not impressed. I went in because I fell on my tailbone and I hadn't had a bowel movement. My hands, legs and feet were swollen and I was nauseated all day. He did cray which showed fecal impaction. When I got my lab results he seemed very non chalant. "Everything is normal " except your wbc is little low. Now I have a significant medical history. So I was concerned. I reached out and explained that I was disappointed by his lack concern. After I sent him a message asking again about the nausea and leg swelling. That's when he prescribed me a diuretic and zofran. I'm overall disappointed
Dr. Attai is a friendly, professional, and patient physician.
