About Me
Here’s what attracted me most to neurology: the amazing brain. I’m fascinated by what the brain does to the rest of the body and the influence a healthy brain has in somebody’s life.
I am a board certified neurologist with subspecialty training in Alzheimer's disease and dementia. I evaluate patients with neurological conditions, and I specialize in the field of dementia.
I believe that educating patients and families about their conditions can help them manage neurological disease the best way they can. When I educate patients about their disease, they become an active part of treatment, follow-up and prevention. They are able to monitor their course and respond to their treatment plan.
As a physician, I’m responsible for the patient and want him or her to be aware of the diagnosis and treatment plan. I want to help them make informed decisions about their health.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/01/2020, Dr. Kataki has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
