About Me

Here’s what attracted me most to neurology: the amazing brain. I’m fascinated by what the brain does to the rest of the body and the influence a healthy brain has in somebody’s life.

I am a board certified neurologist with subspecialty training in Alzheimer's disease and dementia. I evaluate patients with neurological conditions, and I specialize in the field of dementia.

I believe that educating patients and families about their conditions can help them manage neurological disease the best way they can. When I educate patients about their disease, they become an active part of treatment, follow-up and prevention. They are able to monitor their course and respond to their treatment plan.

As a physician, I’m responsible for the patient and want him or her to be aware of the diagnosis and treatment plan. I want to help them make informed decisions about their health.

Was completely not prepared for our referred visit. Seems like she will be good in future, hoping so. But after a referral and the length of time we had to wait to see a specialist, and what we are going through, it would have been nice if records were reviewed ahead of time instead of "so why are you here today'
