About Me

As a family medicine physician, I provide a holistic, evidence-based approach to conventional medicine. I incorporate vitamins and supplements while working closely with patients to facilitate positive lifestyle and dietary changes. I am very passionate about helping my patients achieve the optimal level of health and independence that comes with reduced prescription medications and weight loss. I have helped many of my patients improve the state of chronic conditions and even exceed their health care goals. I believe everyone is capable of improving their physical and emotional health dramatically with the right evidence-based care and dedicated support.

I enjoy working at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center because of the access to a vast network of resources and research. At The Ohio State University Center for Integrative Medicine, I've learned that the most effective path to wellness is through what we call "life-changing medicine," which works to align lifestyle and behavior for the achievement of optimal health.

When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my family, practicing yoga and meditation, gardening, swimming, enjoying nature and exploring new healthy recipes.

Dr Giles was the best Dr I have visited at OSU

  • Reviewed on Sep 17, 2019

Dr. Giles was attentive, patient, and kind. I have some troubling chronic symptoms that my PCP and specialists haven't been able to diagnose or treat, which is why I requested a referral to the Integrative Medicine clinic. Since my symptoms are not easily explained by a traditional Western medicine approach I am often nervous about discussing them with medical professionals for fear that they'll think I'm making things up, or that my symptoms are psychosomatic. Dr. Giles personality and approach made me feel comfortable discussing these things, and I was impressed by the amount of time she spent with me. I was also impressed by how carefully she read over the list of supplements I take. Even though this information is almost always requested by doctors, Dr. Giles is the first one I've seen who spent time looking at the list and commenting when she had a question or suggestion. She ordered some tests (lab work) that I haven't had done before to see if they might offer insight into the cause of my symptoms. She also made referrals to other Integrative Medicine practitioners should I want to pursue their specialties.
