About Me

As a physician assistant, I specialize in all aspects of patient care including the evaluation and treatment of orthopedic conditions. Our team manages and treats most orthopaedic issues related to trauma and injury as well as chronic diseases such as osteoarthritis. Some of the most common conditions I encounter are sports injuries and osteoarthritis of the hip and knee. I believe a major part of the treatment process is patient education, so I spend time discussing my patients’ conditions and encouraging questions. My goal is to empower patients with a greater knowledge of their overall health. I’m very passionate about the opportunity to positively impact my patients’ lives.

I am proud to work at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center where our mission is to improve people's lives in central Ohio and across the world through innovation in research, education and patient care.

I enjoy spending my free time with my wonderful family. They are the most precious and valuable of life's blessings. Together we enjoy traveling, participating in community activities and hanging out with our neighbors and friends.

This appointment was a proactive appointment. I had spoken to Matthew previously about the steps to get a prosthetic foot. He indicated that a medical professional would have to recommend to American Orthopedics, and American Orthopedics would then approach Aetna for pre-approval to obtain the prosthetic foot. Matthew advised me on who I needed to approach, and for what reason. He knew about the process, and told me what part I needed to play.
