About Me
As a dermatologist, I provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for conditions affecting the skin, hair and nails. I enjoy taking care of patients of all ages, and developing a diagnosis and treatment plan that's customized for their lifestyle and goals. I have a special interest in skin cancer screening and the medical management acne, of psoriasis and eczema.
When I’m not at work, I love spending time outdoors with my family, walking and biking.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Jonas has reported no relationships with companies or entities.

The solutions provided for a few issues weren't helpful. Lots of "try this and wait and see." The suggested remedies were largely over the counter as well. Frustrating to drive to Dublin for that.

She was very thorough in her examination, made sure I was clear on which skin spots to watch and what kinds of changes to look for and what to do If I saw any changes. She took the time to answer my questions.

Provider is fine. I would describe her a brusque or very matter of fact. I had some reluctance about taking the medication she was suggesting. There was not a lot of listening to my concerns. It was kind of a take or leave it approach. She's probably right about the meds but her bedside manger was a little off putting. But I only see her once a year so it's not a major concern.

I really appreciate the great records of my freckles and moles that my Doctor takes. It does make me feel comforted to know she will catch any blemish that is starting to go abnormal.

Understood what I wanted
Really like Dr. Jonas although sometimes I feel very unifaceted in the visits - focus on dermatology without incorporating the rest of the body, emotions, mind. This is very different than previous dermatologist who seemed to take a very comprehensive view of the exam. Example, mentioned high stress during exam but Dr. Jonas did not explore that more or even how it might be related to dermatology issues.
