About Me

As a nurse practitioner in women’s health, I have spent more than a decade in female pelvic medicine primarily treating urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. I perform urodynamics testing, pessary fitting and management, bladder instillations, sacral and tibial nerve stimulation, and medication management.

I’m passionate about helping my patients enjoy a better quality of life. For many women, incontinence and prolapse are sensitive subjects. Through years of experience, I have learned how to listen—often reading between the lines—to gather important clinical information from my patients. Through their health care journey, I try to be a sensitive and responsive partner in improving a patient’s symptoms.

Teaching has always been a passion for me—whether educating patients or instructing future medical providers. Working in an academic health care setting has allowed me to continue to hone those skills and pass on knowledge. I’m fortunate to be involved in all levels of academic instruction for our future doctors and nurses by working with medical students, residents, fellows and nurse practitioners.

In my free time, I enjoy walking in my neighborhood and hiking at metro parks with my family. Inside, I will spend time doing any number of fiber arts including cross stitch, crochet and quilting.

    Equally positive

She was excellent. This particular test puts the patient in an awkward position, potentially very embarrassing. The provider put me at ease, made me feel relaxed and comfortable, and explained everything she was doing with just the right balance of professionalism and warmth.

She was thorough in giving me care. I even had a student, help during my exam while my provider was there to observe her. It was a good experience!

Meagan - I can't say enough positive things about Meagan. She seems so comfortable with her job. You know she likes what she does. I can tell she's very competent & smart. She knows just how long to attend to me & then she moves on. I think that's a good skill she has. In fact all her skills are done well.

Excellent, caring, listened to my concerns. Followed up next working day with answers she had referred to Dr. Hundley (as not in that day).
