About Me

As a primary care physician at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and a Columbus native, I am thrilled for the opportunity to give back to my hometown community. I treat a variety of acute and chronic health conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, kidney disease, obesity, anxiety and depression. I also focus on healthy aging and helping patients with multiple comorbidities navigate their conditions and achieve a better quality of life.

In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am passionate about advancing public health through innovative research. I was selected as a Fellowship to Faculty scholar in the Division of General Internal Medicine in The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and I am working on a master’s degree. My work is focused on strategies to reduce health care disparities associated with social determinants of health affecting urban communities in central Ohio.

I am also committed to helping educate the next generation of providers. I am an assistant clinical professor of Internal Medicine at the Ohio State College of Medicine.

Extremely concerned about my health and humbleness In listening to me about questioning her bout my health situation

Some medical staff actually cares about life in general, so it transitions into caring for people relatively effortlessly.

It was disconcerting to be questioned as if in an interrogation about my medication. How long have you been out. Since this date. Oh you got your prescription filed somewhere I can not see. Well no I took my medication during this trip and that was here. It makes sense to meI'm not a teenager nor a child. Generally speaking that has been my complaint with this facility. I'm either told I'm going to die. Which we all are or treated as if I'm being interrogated. I ask questions and want to be informed and included in my medical care

She's extraordinarily thorough. Her foot exam, for example, is far superior to my previous physician.
