About Me

I am a physician assistant with more than 14 years of experience. Since graduating from Chatham University in 2004 with my master’s degree in physician assistant studies, I have worked at The James in surgical oncology. I currently specialize in the surgical management of head and neck cancers and work with our excellent team of surgeons to provide comprehensive surgical care. I also have expertise in the perioperative assessment of our patients and in post-operative complex surgical wound care management.

In addition to serving as the chair and co-chair of the Physician Assistant Committee for two years, I received the OSUMC/James Advanced Practice Provider Merit Award in 2016. In my spare time, I have continued to support the fight against cancer by participating in eight of the last nine Pelotonia events as a rider.

I am passionate about my career at The James because it affords me the opportunity to help our patients through complex surgical procedures and get them healed with the highest level of post-operative function. I enjoy seeing patients back for their survivorship visits after the completion of their surgery and working with my colleagues toward achieving the ultimate goal of a cancer-free world.
