Biography
I am a board-certified family nurse practitioner at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I am dedicated to providing patient-centered care. I specialize in evaluating and treating a wide range of acute conditions, including sore throats, respiratory infections, back pain, rashes and minor injuries. I take the time to listen to each patient and provide individualized care tailored to each unique condition.
I prioritize patient education and always explain any tests or treatments in ways that can be easily understood. My patients can rely on me for individualized care and trust that I will listen closely to their concerns and answer their questions.

Megan Sheppard is a one in a million primary care professional. I have felt "heard" every single time I've seen her. Her suggestions and recommendations, tremendously helped my mental health issues. I'll be forever grateful for her dedication, expertise, knowledge and compassion with which she has always treated me.
I was amazed how much time she spent with me to cover all my concerns. She also gave me great resources to follow up with to help in my decision making about further appointments.

I am moving shortly and I wish that I could take my provider with me. She has been very progressive and is an avid reader of advanced medical information. When I recently grieved the loss of my soul dog, she even sent a message to check in on me. I had been in her office just a few days after his illness/death and I was quite touched by that act of kindness and compassion. I never feel rushed - ever.
Meghan is great at communicating, both during the appointment but most importantly via My Chart after test results were attained. She sends me messages explaining the results and suggested moves for the future.
