About Me

As a certified nurse practitioner, I specialize in the care and evaluation of the spine, spinal nerves and spinal cord. I provide a patient-centered approach to treatment for conditions such as back pain, neck pain, lumbar radiculopathy, cervical radiculopathy and spinal stenosis. After meeting with a patient and evaluating his or her unique condition, I work with each of them to develop an individualized, multidisciplinary care plan, by utilizing the many resources available here at Ohio State Spine Care. I am passionate about connecting with my patients during this process and seek to understand their health goals and perspective.

I chose to work at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center because of its notable academic environment. I enjoy having the opportunity to learn and grow in my profession alongside like-minded, motivated individuals.

In my free time I enjoy reading, gardening, camping and spending time with my husband and children.

My provider made me feel comfortable and at ease.

  • Reviewed on Jan 10, 2025

My provider made me feel like my thoughts/concerns about my condition are only partially relevant. I felt shamed by my provider. I left feeling afraid, feeling as if I wasn't cared about. I felt the visit was more about how the provider's department thinks about my case regardless of how I feel about it. I do have trust in my surgeon's abilities but I think communication and empathy for their patients needs to be taken under more consideration.
