About Me
As a family medicine physician, it’s important that I get to know who my patients are outside the office in order to provide highly individualized care plans. This requires a dynamic understanding of each patient's background, and strong patient-physician relationships where we can work together as a team to reach health and wellness goals. I’m very dedicated to my work and strive to ensure that all patients, no matter their background, socioeconomic status or personal beliefs, are treated the way I would want my loved ones to be treated.
I care for patients with chronic conditions including depression, diabetes and hypertension while stressing the importance of preventative measures and regular check-ups. Because my father passed away in his early 40s from undetected heart disease, I have a special interest preventative medicine – discussing screenings, recommending vaccinations and monitoring for hypertension and hyperlipidemia. I want to help others become more aware of their health and do my best to catch diseases before they start.
I enjoy working at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center because of the opportunity to work in a such a collaborative atmosphere alongside a very talented group of faculty and staff.
When I am not at work, I enjoy being outside and spending time in nature. I also like watching sports and traveling.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
