About Me
As a family medicine physician, I’m passionate about providing care to patients of all age groups from newborns to older adults. I’m a strong believer in both the science and art of medicine. I’m interested in personalization of care and shared decision making so that every patient, regardless of their age, gender, race/ethnicity, sexual orientation or religion, can live a full and healthy life.
I feel grateful to have had many mentors in family medicine, as a medical student and as a resident, who continue to encourage and support me. I wanted to become a family doctor to provide care for children and adults in the outpatient setting and to positively affect the local community.
My research interests include health equity, social determinants of health, positive psychology and gender bias in medicine. I’ve implemented several quality improvement projects relating to examining social determinants of health, especially for children and their families during the well child physicals. Recently, I helped create a project to survey patients on the social determinants of health during the COVID-19 pandemic and provided resources to patients. I’ve also given several presentations on gender bias and positive psychology at national conferences.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. I also enjoy cooking, reading and watching sports. I have been a fan of the Denver Broncos for more than 20 years.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 10/25/2021, Dr. Collier has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
Concerned.
I appreciate you all.
Everyone took the time to discuss my issues.
I am new to Dr. Collier this past year. I am very pleased with her thoroughness, caring and genuine way about her.
Dr. Collier is the best doctor I've ever had. She has such a positive and gentle presence that she makes me very comfortable talking with her about any issues I am having. When I sometimes talk too much, she is always kind, listens to me, and never rushes me. I know I am receiving the very best care from Dr. Collier, and I am fortunate to have her as my doctor.
Wanted more detailed, higher-level direction with my diagnosis/. The instructions were dumbed down and not satisfactory. Doing research on my own for guidance on how to proceed.
I love Dr. Collier. I appreciate the time she spent with me and all the questions she answered. It is very clear to me that she has no judgment towards me which makes for a really comfortable appointment where I can tell her anything. She makes it clear that she wants to help in any way possible.
Dr. Collier is a thoughtful & positive responder.
Very nice doc.
Prompt to understand and communicate, very professional and pleasant.
She understood my frustrations and wants to be able to work with me
So kind - did not blame my weight for my injury -> instead explained & offered solutions. So thoughtful.
Doctor didn't explain very much for example my blood pressure
I'm very happy to have Dr. Collier as my PCP. I am very comfortable with her, and she is very caring and knowledgeable. I'm so glad she was recommended to me!
The provider seemed to be in a hurry to get out of the room. She prescribed me birth control and then didn't even tell me how to take it when she knew it was my first time taking birth control. I probably won't see her again.
Professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Very pleased with her care.
It was fine.
My new provider Dr. Collier is excellent, but I should not have to wait 4 mos. to get an appt. at Worthington if my former dr. left that Worthington location.
Provider was very informative, and answered all questions, and recommendations were given for my current conditions.
my doctor was excellent
First encounter with Dr. Collier. Very competent & thorough.
My care provider was very patient, and listened to me carefully. She was very familiar with my medical history. She also explained the blood work tests she was going to order in great detail.
She always listens and offers suggestions. Could explain procedures more that I needed to understand them though. Ask me if I do.
no problems or concerns to report
Very approachable & willing to listen.
For the most part she listened, but the notes for the visit show some gaps.
My new primary care doctor was kind, attentive and listened to what I had to say about my health. I am happy to have her for my future health care.
she was very nice and cared what I had to say.
This was my first visit with Dr. Collier. I was pleased at how quickly she was able to see me since I'm a new patient.
All good.
she wasn't too personable, didn't share much about herself to help create a rapport with me. she seemed nervous or like she was just going through the motions but lacked passion for it.
Very informative and very concerned about my health and well being.
I am happy with my care provider.
Excellent experience. It was my first visit.
I asked to talk about anxiety & tell me to reschedule since it was a wellness check. I thought anxiety was part of wellness!
Very kind and very helpful!:)
