About Me

As a board-certified nurse practitioner with the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, I treat patients with respiratory conditions including emphysema, pulmonary nodules and tracheal stenosis.

I was inspired to specialize in this area after several years as a critical care nurse, where I regularly worked with patients diagnosed with advanced chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and lung nodules. That experience gave me the opportunity to work alongside and learn from interventional pulmonology specialists practicing at the top of their field, which fueled my desire to do more in pulmonary medicine.

My patients and their families can rely on me to thoroughly explain the diagnosis and treatment options, and to do what I can to bring a smile to their face. Taking care of others has always come naturally to me and it’s an honor to help care for our patients’ physical, mental and emotional needs. I love helping people any way that I can, even if it’s as simple as trying to brighten their day. I currently work in a field highly associated with cancer and one of my goals during every patient interaction is to offer some lightheartedness and happiness.

I have been recognized multiple times for my efforts as a nurse practitioner. I am a Daisy Award recipient, and I was nominated during the Ohio March of Dimes Nurse of the Year Awards in 2015.

I am a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Academy of Interventional Pulmonology (AABIP).
