About Me
As a certified nurse midwife at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I take care of patients through both low- and high-risk pregnancies and guide mothers through labor. My patients can rely on me for empathetic and compassionate care and can expect excellent communication. I believe it is important to not only listen to patients, but to empower and advocate for them as well.
I am especially passionate about using my knowledge and skills to help Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) have safe pregnancies and deliveries. I appreciate the commitment to inclusiveness and diversity at The Ohio State University, as well as the opportunity to train future midwives. My interests include decreasing maternal mortality, physiologic birth, lactation support, family planning, and providing continuous support and education to women across their lifespans.
Before joining Ohio State as a midwife, I gained experience in nursing and midwifery by catching babies in Uganda. In addition, I have worked as a registered nurse and nurse midwife at a private practice and birthing center. I discovered my passion for women’s health during my undergraduate studies at Cleveland State University and I earned my master’s degree in nurse midwifery from the University of Michigan in 2020.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also like to travel.

All great things the provider was very informative
This was a new visit with the provider. She was quick and thorough. She ensured she answered all my questions and made me feel safe.
My care provider clearly did not look at my chart prior to seeing me because she was inaware of my reasons for a visit or nay current health that I had uploaded prior to my appointment, filled out in the waiting room, and answered with the nurse. She also dismissed my concerns and refused to answer questions. I did not want and appointment for an annual I has concerns for pregnancy and she made me do an annual and told me to reschedule for my other OBGYN concerns.
Overall really good experience maybe felt a tad rushed
Friendly & she answered all of my questions/concerns. I would definitely schedule an appt. with her again. (My questions lately.)
Very knowledgeable
The doctor was superb! I want to see her again! Very kind, knowledgeable and caring!
MyQueesha listened very intently to everything I had to say. She showed concern and compassion.
CNM did not listen to my concerns (completely dismissed) & therefore didn't manage my care appropriately. I will not see this midwife again.
