I’m a medical oncologist specializing in bone tumors, soft tissue sarcomas and malignancy in adolescents and young adults. In addition to my work at the OSUCCC – James, I also serve as the associate program director of the pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship program at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. I received my medical training from Northeastern Ohio Medical University, and I completed my residency and fellowship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

I’ve been published in numerous journals, including Familial Cancer, the Journal of Pediatric Surgery Case Reports and Pediatric Blood & Cancer. Best Doctors, Inc. voted me among the “Best Doctors in America” in 2016.

At the OSUCCC – James, I do my best to educate patients about their conditions and treat them according to their individual concerns. Our patients are at one of the most vulnerable times in their lives, and my role is to provide them with hope and the best care possible. The James gives me access to technology, state-of-the-art facilities and research to provide outstanding treatment, and I’m proud to work in such a comprehensive center with other exceptional medical professionals.

Consulting and Related Relationships

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

As of 03/28/17, Dr. Yeager has reported no financial relationships with medical device, research and/or drug companies.
