About Me
As a general dermatology specialist, I treat patients with a wide variety of conditions like acne, warts, rashes, nail diseases, pigmentation disorders and skin cancers.
I want my patients to view me as a compassionate partner and reliable resource in their health care. I believe it’s important to educate patients about all of their options in order to provide the highest level of treatment possible.
As a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Medicine, it’s a privilege to return and help to train the next generation of physicians. I also enjoy collaborating with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s talented team of dermatologists to provide innovative patient care.
In my free time, I enjoy spending family time with my husband and three children. I also love reading and creative crafting.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. Love this provider. Saw her years ago and then she left the facility and when she returned to the state, followed her. Respectful of patients, takes the time to understand the concern and then she goes the extra mile and explains what each mole is and why she is determining each treatment option. I have recommended this provider to so many friends and family. Feel she is an outstanding physician.

She is amazing, I have referred her to several friends and family members. She either remembers a lot of information or actually reviews your chart before your visit. Follow up questions relevant to your care are asked and your follow up care is reinforced prior to leaving. I was offered to stay at the previous location with other providers if the drive to the new location was too much however to maintain care with this provider, I am willing to drive the extra time.

Skin check for potential concerning moles etc., seemed somewhat cursory compared to other dermatologists, including scalp. Limited info provided on home care follow up for skin conditions. She was very willing to take extra time to provide a quick skin treatment.
I was there with my nursing infant and I appreciated Dr. Malerich's overall concern for my time and comfort. She offered me space to nurse if needed and didn't make me feel rushed or that I was an inconvenience for bringing my baby.
Everything was good, the only complaint was the amount of time to wait for an appointment.

The Doctor put me at ease during a sensitive procedure. She worked me into her schedule. Not only that I was in and out before my actual appointment time and able to get to work quickly after.

I can send messages & she always replies or will call me! Sends results of tests through MyChart ASAP w/follow up info. (I prefer MyChart over phone call - easier to refer back to later if I forget something.)
