I believe in providing specialized, state-of-the-art and compassionate care to individuals with lung problems. Educating my patients is important to me. I feel very strongly about providing them an opportunity to participate fully in their own care.
Helping individuals make good decisions about their health is fundamental. My goal is to work together to achieve the best quality of life possible for them. Being able to do this makes me passionate about my career.
I love working at Ohio State. As the only academic medical center in central Ohio, we have the opportunity to provide world-class medical care, which includes the latest innovations.
When I'm not working, I like to relax with my family. I also enjoy sports. I'm an Ohio State football fan. As an undergraduate, I was captain of the Brown University tennis team.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies, etc. because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 03/25/2016, Dr. Diaz has reported financial relationships with the medical device, research and/or drug companies, etc. listed below. If you have questions about the relationships listed below, please ask the faculty member. If you have questions about how these relationships are monitored by The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, please contact our Compliance Office at 614-293-7802.
