About Me
I am an Internal Medicine physician who specializes in caring for adult patients while they are in the hospital. I treat all conditions that require inpatient hospitalization, including exacerbation of chronic heart failure or pulmonary conditions, infections, altered mental status with concern for stroke. I also care for patients in consultation with surgical specialists, specifically in peri-operative risk stratification and medical optimization. I also have extensive expertise in diagnostic testing.
My patients can expect a detail-oriented approach designed to help them recover and go home. I am passionate about providing a smooth transition from inpatient to outpatient care settings. I am committed to quality improvement and my role at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center includes serving on the Patient Satisfaction and Faculty Feedback committees.
In addition to my patient care responsibilities, I help educate medical students and residents as a clinical assistant professor of Internal Medicine. I am also a supervising physician for The Ohio State University College of Medicine’s free community clinics. My previous experience also included serving in the Ohio Army National Guard.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Huang has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
