About Me
As a plastic surgeon at the OSUCCC–James, I treat patients with breast cancer. I specialize in performing microsurgeries, including breast reconstruction and lymphedema surgery. I’m passionate about helping each patient regain a sense of normalcy after battling cancer.
I’m proud to be part of such a devoted and skilled multidisciplinary team here at The James. We have an integrative approach to cancer care that includes treating the disease with surgery, chemotherapy, radiation and other modalities. At the same time, we incorporate evidence-based therapies to support each patient’s quality of life.
I have extensive experience as a researcher. My work has been published in peer-reviewed journals including Annals of Plastic Surgery and British Journal of Neurosurgery, and I have presented my research before respected medical groups in the United States and the United Kingdom.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

When selecting what type of breast implant I wanted for my reconstruction- given verbal info about options, no written info- no physical implants to see, hold or first hand understand see the implants to make final decisions.
From day 1 the best care
I live about 2 hrs away and got to my appt early because we didn't know how traffic was going to be. I was able to be seen right away. I appreciated that so much especially with our drive. A lot of offices would have made me wait the 45 minutes until my scheduled appt.
