Biography
I am a board-certified family medicine physician at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I specialize in diagnosing and treating patients for various conditions including diabetes, hypertension, respiratory infections and preventive care needs.
I am also a fellowship-trained Addiction Medicine physician, specializing in the treatment of substance use disorders during the ongoing opioid overdose epidemic.
I take a whole-person approach to care, focusing on long-term wellness and building strong relationships with my patients. I work closely with other specialists to coordinate care that supports each patient’s unique goals.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am passionate about educating and mentoring the next generation of providers, particularly in building capacity for primary care point-of-care ultrasound and street medicine for our unhoused patients living at encampments and shelters in the local community.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Dr. Chung has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
