Renee Miranda, MD
- Family Medicine
About MeAs a family medicine physician at Ohio State, I specialize in primary care, outpatient care, preventive medicine, acupuncture and integrative medicine. I practice integrative medicine, which is a more holistic approach to patient care, looking at a patient’s nutrition habits, daily physical activity, sleep patterns and tools for stress reduction. I integrate eastern and western medical therapies to maximize my patients’ health.
I enjoy helping patients to become the best versions of themselves through creating individualized care plans. I love all the different ways healing can happen, whether it’s through allopathic medicine or other approaches like music therapy, acupuncture, massage or meditation. The key is listening to a patient's story, looking at them as a whole and individualizing a healthcare plan to best fit their healthcare goals.
I enjoy the energy at Ohio State and my co-workers’ positive attitudes.
When I’m not working, I like to spend my time hiking, traveling, laughing with friends, eating adventurous foods and walking my dog, Ohsen.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 03/26/2018, Dr. Miranda has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
