As a rheumatologist at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I keep an individualized approach in mind while working with patients to formulate a care plan. The key element of my practice is to not just focus on the disease itself but also other elements that influence a patient’s health. In my opinion, a holistic approach is the cornerstone of providing quality care in medicine.
In my general rheumatology clinic, I see patients with various types of arthritis and other inflammatory or autoimmune conditions related to the joints, muscles, or bones. I treat adults with conditions as diverse as arthritis, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, gout, lupus, scleroderma, myositis, vasculitis, and sarcoidosis. I also see adolescents that are transitioning from pediatric to adult rheumatologists for continuity of care.
I’ve lived in Columbus since 2007 and I am proud to be a part of the Ohio State team. Working here gives me the opportunity to work with providers from many different subspecialties which is conducive to solving challenging and puzzling cases. I also have a passion for teaching, and I enjoy mentoring post-doctorate rheumatology fellows.
When I’m away from work, I like to spend time with my husband, who’s an established physician in the community. In my free time I find joy in dancing, gardening, and biking.

In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
