About Me
Vascular surgery represents a longitudinal relationship with the patient to treat a variety of diseases that can impact both the length and quality of their life. I value that relationship and the ability to provide surgical, minimally invasive and medical options to give the patient the best possible outcome. I specialize in aortic diseases and peripheral artery disease. At the heart of my approach is the patient-doctor relationship. I strive to make sure information is clearly presented and understood and that we work as a team to develop a strategy that incorporates elements that matter most to the patient.
In one of my more resent research endeavors, I’ve worked to develop novel, noninvasive diagnostic methods using near infra-red light. We have been awarded a provisional patent for this technology. My unique background in biomedical engineering has allowed me to perform computer based modeling and bring those data to the bedside. I’m also interested in computer modeling of aortic disease as well as outcomes-based research examining ways to improve care for vascular patients.
Working with the Division of Vascular Diseases and Surgery at Ohio State Wexner Medical Center has been a special opportunity. We foster a sense of trust with the patient and address their unique conditions in a way that works best for them. That dedication is unique to this group and represents the excellence that the rest of the Buckeye community embodies.
In my free time, I enjoy running, biking and spending time with my family.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 10/25/2021, Dr. Beaulieu has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
Good communication.
Excellent
I chose Dr. Beaulieu based on the profile on the OSU website. He was every bit the professional that I anticipated he would be. I have a medical background, and a deep interest in medicine. Dr. Beaulieu treated me like the medical student that I wish I had been, and answered all my questions as if he had nothing else to do that day. I left the visit feeling totally informed and worry-free. It just don't get no better than that!
Great analysis & recommendations.
My care provider explained how poor valve closure could be contributing to my foot swelling in a way that was easy to understand.
Had both the intern and heart doctor ho over my results and give the checkup and explain cat scan results. Very attententive to me.

Did not get all of their names but they were excellent, quick and gentle

Number 1.
Dr. Beaulieu was extremely attentive, caring, and I didn't feel rushed. I needed/wanted to have a conversation about what was the best point of care for my situation and Dr. Beaulieu met/exceeded all of my needs and I left feeling extremely comfortable and confident in the decision we made together. Feeling like your doctor truly listens and cares for you is hard to find sometimes.
Dr. Beaulieu is incredible. Kind, caring, professional, confident. If every dr. was like Dr. Bobley, the world would be a better place. Please acknowledge him.
All experiences were good. I was in clinic on a teaching day so it was great to see OSU students learn to treat and care for patients.
