Dr. Mayo was excellent. I have struggled with tremors for years. He explained perfectly what he need to do. I have seen 2 neurologists in Dayton - very unsatisfactorily.

"My provider did not introduce himself when he entered the room--I had to check MyChart to even find out the name of my provider after my visit. My health was treated as a trivial matter. It appeared my provider had not ever looked at my chart because he did not know what medications I was on at all. I am not sure if my provider knew my name, because he never called me by it. My chart was never opened while the provider was in the room. My concerns were treated as "easy and I was actually told verbatim that I was "easy" because of my health concerns.

I was barely seen for a couple minutes, my concern was blown off and the paperwork needed in a timely manner is still not taken care of--over a week later. I need a refill and it hasn't been sent in and I can't access it from my mycharts page.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
