Rohini Kadle, MD

About Me

I am a plastic surgeon who primarily performs procedures on cancer patients, specifically those with breast cancer, lymphedema, and sarcoma. I specialize in microsurgical reconstruction, which can restore both the form and function of my patients undergoing cancer resections. Cancer treatment can be an enormously difficult process for patients, and I strive to help alleviate some of that burden.

I am passionate about helping cancer patients feel a little more whole, both physically and emotionally, and I believe in a patient-centered, empathetic approach. I am committed to treating not just the area of reconstruction, but the whole patient. When patients come to see me, they can trust that I will work closely with them to find the reconstructive plan that works best for them.

My training solidified my dedication to being a leader in patient care, and I’m thrilled to continue my career in academic medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I am proud to be part of an institution that is committed to interdisciplinary treatment for cancer patients. The collaboration and respect between our team members allows us to provide exceptional, personable care.

In addition to my clinical work, my research interests are focused on improving reconstructive procedures throughout the whole body. My work has been published in multiple peer-reviewed journals and I have delivered presentations at several national meetings. I am also dedicated to teaching the next generation of plastic surgeons. I train medical students, residents and fellows and I am an assistant professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery.

When I’m not working, I enjoy hiking, camping and traveling.
