About Me

As a pulmonary medicine and acute care nurse practitioner, I specialize in managing patients with conditions like asthma, pulmonary fibrosis and COPD. I currently serve as the patient support group leader for pulmonary fibrosis.

Through patient education, I share my expertise in order to broaden a patient’s understanding of his or her disease process, which results in improved outcomes and quality of life.

I’ve been working at Ohio State since 1993, when I was hired as the clinical nurse specialist in the Cardiac Care Unit. As a former OSU graduate, and lifelong Buckeye, returning to Ohio State seemed like a perfect fit.

When I’m not working, I like to spend as much time as possible boating and being out on the water. I’m active in my local gym and work out three to four times a week. Also, I’m working with my dog, a goldendoodle, as he finishes his Therapy Dog International training.
