Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Knapp has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
Made sure she answered all the questions that I asked.
Doctor was very nonchalant, bordering on rude - she seemed bored and disinterested in me and my condition. I am currently looking for a different doctor for my sleep disorder.
She was also very engaged, but at times during the 20 min visit, it seemed that she was moreso following a checklist. However, she was engaged and did explain things in a straight forward, easily understood way. There wasn't much that she could really do for me other than schedule the sleep study and go over broad treatment options that were most common.
Friendly, communicated the probable sleep study
She was also very good
I believe she had it in her head that I needed a sleep study. Very slight snoring, no sleep apnea, so short of breath after awakening in morning, I just feel sleepy during much of the day. I will not use c pap or anything around my face at nite.
Poor bedside manner
