About Me
As an interventional cardiologist, I specialize in procedural therapies for coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease and heart failure. Many of the patients I treat have advanced heart conditions that may require therapies that aren’t readily available. By having a multidisciplinary team of medical providers review a patient’s case, we can provide patient-centered recommendations and access to effective and innovative therapies.
Working at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center has given me the opportunity to treat the full range of cardiovascular diseases, conduct clinical research and mentor students.
I have published and presented widely on valvular heart disease as we were the first, and remain among the few centers, to use advanced modeling and simulation to guide transcatheter aortic valve replacement.
I value the rich teaching and learning environment of a large academic medical center. I teach in the medical school, in the catheterization laboratories and on rounds in the Ross Heart Hospital, while also continuing to learn from my colleagues every day.
In my free time, I love hanging out with my sons. I have three amazing, beautiful and rowdy boys, and believe I’m the luckiest dad in the world. I enjoy most anything outdoors, and they do too.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
