Biography
Ernst Wynder, MD, said: 'It should be the function of medicine to help people die young as late in life as possible.' My focus is helping patients achieve the best, healthful life possible and flourish throughout their living days. Centering my practice toward each patient’s version of a 'good life' brings attention to all aspects of a patient’s day, including nutrition, body movement and relaxation, personal and professional relationships, and emotional balance. Integrating day-to-day life with disease management, medications, procedures and specialist care provides the best formula for a patient’s whole health.
As a health care provider, I love my dual specialty in internal medicine and pediatrics because it allows me to treat entire families and make connections with people across generations.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my two kids, ages 3 and 1. We play a lot, laugh a lot, go to the YMCA and love to get outside.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Dr. Stevenson has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
