About Me
I’m a board-certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain medicine physician. I specialize in treating painful spine and joint conditions.
I believe in a comprehensive approach for pain management where we can design a plan to attack pain from all angles. This may include a range of treatments from exercise and rehabilitation to diet counseling and behavioral therapy to injection-based treatments when needed. I integrate the newest, evidence-based technologies into my practice as well as complementary medicine approaches including massage, yoga and meditation. I work one-on-one with my patients to develop a long-term treatment plan that will help them get back to doing the activities that they enjoy.
In my spare time, I like to explore different parks in central Ohio with my family.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2022, Dr. Nama has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
Very kind and patient.
Friendly, efficient.
Very professional, friendly and informed
Very good.
Both the resident who spoke with me and examined me first (I'm sorry, but I have forgotten her name) and Dr. Nama were friendly, reassuring, clear in their explanation of the treatment plan, and very professional as well as personable. I was put at ease right away -- a good thing, as this was my first experience with the Spine Center.
Excellent carw
Good.
It was good
Dr. Nama is a notch above most providers. She is friendly, when I came in for my appointment, she had already reviewed my chart and knew important details that pertained to our appointment. She speaks clearly and her tone is pleasing. When in the procedure room, she is concerned with cleanliness and safety, she speaks clearly and loudly to the other staff helping and to me when she explains what she is doing.
Fantastic in every way.
Very good
Dismissive-no resolve or help with trying to relieve my issues.

Very, very good.
I feel very comfortable and at ease with Dr. Nam. I feel I can be totally open and honest with her. She also responds to my mychart correspondence quickly.
All way friendly. Very helpful.
I would recommend Doctor Nama most definitely.
Very nice, but not the doctor that can help me
Dr Nama got me scheduled for the evaluation ASAP, and it is always good to talk to her.
Very good. Liked her right away and learned something my spine surgeon did not tell me.
Dr. Nama was rude, treated me like my concerns are invalid I will never go back to her.
Don't think she looked at info I told the doctor before I saw her; think she just listened to what HE TOLD HER.
Did not discuss the MRI results of my spine
Good.
I really didn't appreciate her say that everything is in my head and thinking am crazy.
