About Me
I’m a board-certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain medicine physician. I specialize in treating painful spine and joint conditions.
I believe in a comprehensive approach for pain management where we can design a plan to attack pain from all angles. This may include a range of treatments from exercise and rehabilitation to diet counseling and behavioral therapy to injection-based treatments when needed. I integrate the newest, evidence-based technologies into my practice as well as complementary medicine approaches including massage, yoga and meditation. I work one-on-one with my patients to develop a long-term treatment plan that will help them get back to doing the activities that they enjoy.
In my spare time, I like to explore different parks in central Ohio with my family.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Dr. Nama was professional, kind, very proficient in doing my procedure, an epidural spine injection
Dr. Nama treated me with respect and not a number. Very pleased with her.
I like Dr Nama. everything goes very smoothly. she is one of the only of my doctors who seems to believe what I say about my back pain
Very concern, caring and made me feel confident in her. She kept checking to see if I was ok and not in any pain or uncomfortable. A real joyous experience.
Very informative and helpful in helping me to not be nervous and explained everything I needed to know
