About Me

As a comprehensive ophthalmologist at The Ohio State University, I treat conditions such as cataracts, eye trauma, refractive error, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration. Ophthalmology is amazing to me as it includes continuously evolving technology and microsurgical techniques. With these tools, we can improve vision and really make a difference in a patient’s quality of life and overall happiness. I pay special attention to each patient’s needs and encourage them to advocate for their health. I am proud to be part of Ohio State Havener Eye Institute and provide patients with compassionate eye care.

I spend a lot of time teaching the ophthalmology resident physicians on their inpatient rotations. Educating the residents is an honor and privilege. We see patients in the hospital at bedside and strive to treat them with compassion and excellence during their admissions.

My interests include volunteering in a free clinic, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
