As a family medicine physician, I treat and manage a variety of conditions including depression, diabetes, hypertension and soft-tissue injuries. My focus is to engage with individuals, particularly those from vulnerable patient populations, while trying to better understand the context of how certain conditions evolved. I believe that a patient’s health closely mirrors the health of the surrounding community, which is why I stress the importance of providing quality health care, chronic disease prevention and education for our underserved and uninsured populations. These factors are critical for the overall health and well-being of our greater community.
I enjoy working at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center because of the many resources and opportunities available to help bring my clinical passion to fruition. Working at an academic medical center like Ohio State is unique as it also allows me to pursue my interests in research and educating future generations of physicians.
When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my husband, two sisters, niece and nephew. I love singing and have performed with several bands in the Columbus music scene. Delicious food is also a passion of mine, so you may find me trying out new cuisines and restaurants on the weekends.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/21/2019, Dr. Tolliver has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
