About Me

I specialize in primary care sports medicine, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal issues leading up to surgery. Like the team sports that many of my patients are involved in, I really enjoy working in a collaborative team environment here at Ohio State– from training future medical professionals to sub-specialists in specific joint issues to a concerted focus on patient care.

I was very active in team sports growing up and experienced several injuries. Not only did this experience spark my interest in sports medicine, but it underlies how I approach patient care, taking time to really get to know and understand each patient and get an idea of what it’s like to be in their shoes and just working to get back to the activities they love doing. With that knowledge, I create the best plan to get them back to activity as safely as possible and provide them with the knowledge they need to follow through with the plan.
