About Me
As an electrophysiologist, I specialize in the care of cardiac arrhythmias. I take a multidisciplinary approach to care. My team and I consult with the appropriate specialists if additional input is needed to provide the best outcomes. I’m passionate about being able to deliver therapies that can significantly improve my patients’ quality of life.
My research interests include evaluating new technologies for ablation of cardiac arrhythmias and advancements in cardiac device therapy, specifically pacemakers and defibrillators.
I enjoy working at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center because it’s an institution that continuously strives to improve the quality of care, and I always receive the necessary support to perform advanced arrhythmia therapies.
When I’m not working, I enjoy golfing, fly fishing and spending time with my family and dogs.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 10/25/2021, Dr. Kalbfleisch has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
Dr. Kalbfleisch was EXCEPTIONAL listened and responded well to my questions and concerns. I would recommend him to anyone needing to be sen for electro physiological services!
Great job.
Dr. was very good.
I have no complaints. He seems to know his field of medicine.
Straight and to the point ..
After having my first cardioversion at another facility, this is the best time that a doctor sat down with me to discuss my situation. This was my first meeting with Dr. Kalbfleisch.

Excellentnothing negative!
Dr. Kalbfleisch is the best doctor I've seen in my entire 60+ years! He listened, not rushed, asked questions for clarity, and provided choices for my consideration. I felt care, empathy, and safe. I will not let anyone touch my heart except Dr. Kalbfleisch!

Dr. K took his time to listen.
I wish I could have gotten more in depth info on sarc/cardiac - This has been a long difficult & frustrating journey with so little known about sarc.
Dr. Kalbfleisch explained to me what they could and could not do regarding my PVC'S in my heart. He explained that where the malfunction was located would determine what they could do.
