In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

All good
Dr. SEVERYN IS WONDERFUL. Such a kind, compassionate and impressive doctor.
He was Excellent, actually listened to my concerns and made recommendations. Great Ned side manner
To be quite frank this was one of the worst providers I have ever come into contact with at OSU. I have gone to OSU since I aged out of my pediatrician and I have had two knee surgeries with the OSU orthopedics department. I would not have had a single complaint with any of the healthcare workers I have interacting with. This doctor obviously had not reviewed my MRI results and the radiology report closely enough. To the point where I was telling him what the radiologist said on the report and he pulled it up during the appointment and then said that he did not see any of the problems from my MRI that the report had discussed. Then went to blame all of my back pain on my weight when I have a huge genetic disposition for spinal stenosis which was shown to be the case in my MRI according to the original radiology report. He would not know my long line of poor back genetics because he did not ask me a single question about my family history during the appointment. He did little to know physical exam and I have numbness and tingling in my right leg that my GP believes is being caused by my back and he did not address that at all.
Dr. Severyn has always met or exceeded my expectations.
This provider is excellent.
The orthopedic doctor's MD assistant was great! He took his time, he didn't rush me, I felt he heard and understood my problem. He was also modern. He took time to recommend a donut pillow on my back and showed me what they were and looked like on their phone. He was very personable and didn't feel rushed, very rare for MDs.
He was knowledgeable and caring
Very courteous friendly and helpful
He was nice and friendly, he listened and asked questions and made everything easy to u seats d.
It was all good. Dr. Severyn had looked at all my medical records before coming in to the room to meet with me. All the records were in MyChart from other doctors outside of Ohio State. I had my big manila envelope of discs and medical reports that I carry around, but he told me I don't need to bring that envelope any more. That was a relief. He knew I was seeing him because I have exhausted all of the other options to address my pain. He was sympathetic to my personal situation, and he was open to my ideas about what I thought might be left for me to try. It's comes down to a couple of implanted pain management technologies for me, and he was open to the fact that I had a preference that might not be the one he would have recommended. I really appreciated everything about visit.
Very professional took the time to listen and explain things .
Always attentive and informative
Nice and friendly always with respect.
The Dr. Listened to my problems and was very understanding. We were very impressed with his manners, explaining my problems and a very happy and kind Doctor!
Was very polite and very patient toward my care
I just have to say I've been coming to the spine center for about 25 years and in my opinion Dr. Severyn is the best in the business. He always makes you feel like you are heard and that he cares about you and anything you're going through. He always listens and answers your questions. He is Top Notch.
Dr. Severyn is one of the most caring and concerned doctots that I have.
Seemed not care about how much pain I on on my spine
Dr. Severyn explained what was going to happen during the procedure and answered the questions I had.
Very personable and caring Dr that didn't hurry and made sure I understood everything.
He is awesome.
Listened intently and was very thorough of his examination.
Docter is very knowledgeable and respectful
Took time. Seemed educated on me and competent
Dr. Severyn was knowledgeable and clear in his evaluation of my neck condition. He was honest and helpful in helping me to understand it
Good
My care Provider was and is excellent
I really liked this Doctor
Dr. Severyn is the Best!!!! He knows I'm in pain and is doing everything to get my life back on track as he did in 1999 when first seen him after motorcycle accident and gave me a great life working etc until I was injured again and Dr retired nobody would listen or treat my pain as they scared with epidemic I was lost in system and he's trying to get me back on track after he came back from war and I found him again!
Did care about the pain that I had, he looked at my X-ray from one year ago!! D bother to order a new one, prescribed a pain medicine and that was easy for him and for any provider to do so!! I didn't have to wait three months to get seen by him, he could be more careful about the pain that it takes me time to explain to him, and it takes me time rushing from where I live to the office where he's at
Dr. Severyn was amazing. He actually listens and has great ability to articulate medical responses for those not trained in medical jargon. He took his time with me, trying to figure out what is wrong with my back..
Worst experience ever! His phone went off during my appointment and I actually thought he was going to answer it. He actually said to me I don't know how to treat you.
He is a good listener.
He always treats me nice and answers my questions.
He explained my complex back injury in a way that I could easily understand.
The Dr explained everything clearly and came up with a plan for my care
Very thoughtful, very helpful in describing the medical diagnosis and prescribed treatment.
Dr Severyn took a lot of time and did my treatment himself
Great experience Dr Severyn is the Best and has great satff
Doctor had a wonderful bedside manner and took a lot of time to explain everything to me. I thought he was an outstanding doctor.
Good
I'm hard of hearing and he spoke very soft
Good
He seemed to truly understand what I was expressing. Asked me if I had any questions after telling me things. He didn't seem to be in any hurry to get done with me
He is always professional and caring.
Love nurse wish I remembered name I would want her every time. Dr. Sybwrn is the best I had him for years earlier before he left military and knows my pain and history and put me on regimental medicine and had great successful life getting through everyday pain.
Very good very good
Amazing staff and Dr
The provider had taken time with my chart BEFORE seeing me. Very professional.
Care provider was nice and did spend adequate time with me (not my child. Visit was for me). But told me he just comes in 1-2 times per week because he retired but the benefits were good. Did not seem to understand that there were two issues I was dealing with and seemed irritated when I was trying to explain.
Very nice, calming due to the nature of procedure. Techs were really nice as well.
Love dr.Severyn. He cares about his patients and always takes the time to listen. He also shows you respect. And address all your concerns.
