About Me
I am a board-certified emergency medicine physician at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I specialize in diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, including trauma, acute illness, and life-threatening emergencies.
In my clinical role, I provide rapid, evidence-based care in high-pressure situations, ensuring that patients receive timely interventions and support. I work closely with a skilled emergency team to stabilize patients and guide them toward recovery.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I earned my Master of Medical Education from the University of Cincinnati and am passionate about educating and mentoring the next generation of providers. I serve as one of the core faculty members for the Emergency Medicine residency training program and as an assistant professor at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
My educational focus centers on teaching critical procedures to physicians and advanced practice providers, ensuring the highest standards of effectiveness and patient safety. I have served in educational leadership for over six years and have created several nationally renowned educational curriculums. I was honored to receive the 2024-2025 Legacy Educator Award at Indiana University. I am proud to lead both the clinical and educational arenas at The Ohio State University.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Wipprecht has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
