Biography

I'm a board-certified family medicine physician specializing in primary care for older adults. My practice includes thorough cognitive assessments to help determine the best treatment plan based on the individual's unique needs. My expertise includes early detection of conditions like dementia and mild cognitive impairment.

I work closely with patients and their families to understand changes in memory and thinking, and to develop personalized care plans that support both health and quality of life. I also help my patients prepare for future treatment decisions by offering advanced care planning services. This ensures their preferences and values are always followed in the potential event that they can no longer advocate for themselves.

My patients can expect comprehensive, compassionate care that helps them maintain their independence, manage chronic conditions and age with dignity. I take an integrated approach that considers each patient’s physical and emotional well-being, social factors and long-term goals. I believe in clear communication, preventive measures and partnering with caregivers and other professionals to ensure coordinated, respectful support for every stage of aging. As I always say to my patients, 'My job is to keep you upright, doing the things you want to do for as long as you would like to do them.'

Was a good listener . Was thorough when asking questions about my health

The doctor was what I needed to better understand my injury, and potential action plan. Although he didn't know it, he provided a Christmas miracle when he moved my injured shoulder there was a click, but since it continued to hurt I didn't think anything of it until I returned home and was able to have a larger range of motion. I still have discomfort and will of course follow up with my scheduled PT visit. I'm grateful for his time and support, especially in the holiday week and with extended family coming to visit.
