About Me
I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in intellectual developmental disorders (IDD). I work with individuals experiencing behavioral and mental health challenges and help them understand why these challenges are happening and teach them different coping skills to help meet their needs. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence based. I work closely with patients and their support team to address the challenges they face with the goal of improving quality of life.
I received my initial training in behavior analysis on the Neuro-Behavioral Inpatient Unit at the Kenney Krieger Institute. I have a master’s degree in Developmental Psychology from Johns Hopkins University and a master’s degree and PhD in Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Psychology from The Ohio State University. I have over twenty-five years of experience in the assessment and treatment of severe problem behaviors in the IDD population.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Rodriguez has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
