About Me
I am a board-certified Anesthesiologist with additional board certification in pediatric anesthesia. Although I recently transitioned to OSU from Nationwide Childrens in 2022, I have held an appointment at OSU since 2007.
My research interests are in perioperative sustainability. Healthcare contributes 5-8% of the carbon footprint. We must all do our part. This is not only my area of interest but a passion with me. My other interest is value-based health care. These topics ago together in improving patients lives and outcomes.
Being a Buckeye is a source of pride from seeing the brand new building from the highway taking the exit in the early am to walking with the undergraduates around mirror lake and celebrating special occasions at the faculty club. Not to mention the tremendous buckeye pride and spirit in the fall with the advent of football season.
My outside interests include tennis (more watching my kids than playing nowadays) and gardening.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care.
