At the OSUCCC – James we have the unique opportunity to access opinions from a variety of cancer specialists all under one roof. We use the latest technologies and therapies to provide specific, targeted treatment for each patient and their particular cancer.
Education is very important to me. I mentor new physicians who are undertaking fellowships at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center as well as junior faculty members. I also serve as a professor of internal medicine for The Ohio State University. I’ve given more than 60 presentations nationally and internationally detailing our research and latest treatments. Additionally, I’ve co-authored more than 90 articles and 80 abstracts in medical publications such as the Journal of Clinical Oncology and Biology of Blood and Marrow Transplantation.
I thoroughly enjoy the collaborative and enthusiastic spirit of The James. Every one here – from the doctors to support staff – is truly dedicated to improving the lives of cancer patients and their families. If someone in my family were to have cancer, this is the only a place in the world where I would want them to receive treatment.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 03/25/2016, Dr. Blum has reported financial relationships with the medical device, research and/or drug companies listed below. If you have questions about the relationships listed below, please ask the faculty member.
